For over 15 years, Marc H. Stein has practiced solely in the areas of Matrimonial and Family Law.  Mr. Stein started his practice primarily working in the New York County Supreme and Family Courts working for the Law Offices of Benjamin Brotman and Associates, P.C. For the first three years of Mr. Stein’s practice. Mr. Stein began honing his knowledge and skills in the area of Matrimonial and Family Law by handling all aspects of litigation in the areas of child custody, child support, maintenance, and equitable distribution.

Subsequent to working in Manhattan, Mr. Stein worked for the Law Offices of Bryan L. Salamone & Associates, P.C. which is one of the largest Matrimonial and Family Law firms on Long Island.  It was through his eleven year tenure at said firm that Mr. Stein climbed to the level Senior Associate and supervised the work of every attorney in the firm and oversaw over 200 matrimonial and Family Law cases per year.

As a trial attorney, Mr. Stein has handled over 500 divorce and family law cases and has aggressively guided his clients through all aspects of their divorce case from commencement to trial.   Mr. Stein has represented and litigated the divorce cases of celebrities and high net worth individuals and has been on Long Island 12 news, ABC News, as well as Newsday strictly advocating for his clients rights and what the law provides them. Mr. Stein has recently focused his attention on the division of pension and deferred compensation plans for the Suffolk County Police Department, Nassau County Police Department, NYPD and the FDNY in matrimonial, matters as well as the division of pre-marital assets for the non-owner spouse based on passive appreciation.

Mr. Stein earned his B.A. in Philosophy, Politics and Law at the State University of New York at Binghamton and his J.D. from New York Law School. He has received the honor of being named a Lead Counsel Certified Rated Attorney and Strathmore’s Who’s Who for the two past years.
