Mr. Routh is a dedicated attorney with a wealth of experience across multiple areas of law. He began his career as a Jerome N. Frank Legal Fellow at Yale Law School, where he worked in the Sol and Lillian Goldman Family Advocacy for Children and Youth and Immigration Legal Services Clinics. Additionally, he gained hands-on experience at CUNY’s Family Law Practice Clinic, representing indigent parents in child welfare cases through the Brooklyn Family Defense Practice.

An active member of the New York State Bar Association and New York City Bar Association, Mr. Routh serves on the Drugs and the Law Committee. His diverse legal practice spans housing and real estate, family law and divorce, bankruptcy, surety and bail bond matters, and appellate litigation.

Mr. Routh has a strong track record of advocating for homeowners and property investors in complex foreclosure litigation and real estate disputes, including partition actions, deed fraud, adverse possession, and landlord-tenant conflicts. He has successfully drafted and argued numerous motions to dismiss and appellate briefs, leading to the dismissal of many time-barred foreclosure actions. His appellate advocacy extends to arguments before both the First and Second Departments.

Mr. Routh is admitted to practice in New York State Courts, as well as the U.S. District and Bankruptcy Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. He is also a proud member of the Queens Women’s Bar Association.
