Marcia Payton serves as Of Counsel to The Alber Firm P.C., bringing decades of experience in both criminal prosecution and defense. She began her career as an Assistant District Attorney in New York County, where she prosecuted thousands of cases and worked closely with law enforcement in the Office of Special Narcotics.

Marcia’s deep knowledge of prosecutorial strategy gives her a powerful advantage in criminal defense, allowing her to anticipate the government’s approach and build strong, strategic defenses. In addition to her criminal work, she has handled a wide range of civil cases in both state and federal court and served as a legal consultant for major corporations and law firms.

Marcia earned her law degree with honors from Pace University School of Law and her undergraduate degree with distinguished honors from SUNY Binghamton.
